Earlarm Does not Disturb Your Partner

An alarm clock called Earlarm that will wake you up not without disturbing your partner.

It can be annoying if u r being wake up by others or others wake up by you without any reason. Here is the solution; only wearer of earplugs of Ealarm will be able to hear the alarm.

1. A girl of South Korea named Moon invented the Earlarm. He is a design graduate. The idea was built to solve the problem of getting a good night’s sleep while still hearing an alarm.

   The concept device will feature two noise-cancelling foam ear plugs. Each ear plug has tiny speakers. Via Bluetooth the speakers connect to a bedside clock.

   
   

3.A smartphone app is used in the alarm so that when it goes off it sounds only in the ears of the wearer, letting their partner carry on and snooze.

The innovator of this Earlarm is a 24 year old girl from Seoul, South Korea. She is a design graduate. She developed the project with her friends Doyun Kim and Jinyong Park. She won a Reddot design award for this innovation.

She was inspired to design the alarm after oversleeping while wearing earplugs to muffle the sounds of a party taking place next door. She said: ‘I am a light sleeper and unfortunately my flat was not properly soundproofed and party animals lived next door. I couldn’t get to sleep easily and would wake up in the middle of night because of noise such as laughter and loud music. Sometimes alarm clocks from next door would wake me up when I didn’t want to get up.’

Consumers with the device will be able to examine while his or her alarm will ring by simply looking at a LCD display on the clock device.

General alarm clocks have the disadvantage of waking everyone up when they go off, which is annoying as many couples start work at different times, or might just fancy a lie-in.But Ms Moon said her device Earlarm is ‘an alarm clock only for you’.
